OpenPLi-2.1-beta-dm8 [HR][/HR] I found a build of OpenPLi-2.1-beta-dm82 from source makes from gjstroom This image is a 100% build image from OpenPLi 2.1 source. You can use the PLi plugins like VLC, Mytube and Partnerbox, they no longer need patching. New image because PLi switched to SSL84 and 0902 drivers and a new nfi image layout. The SIM2 SSL is still at 82 and does not support the new nfi image layout. This image still uses the old layout but has all new features. You can also use the update function, as long as the PLi team don't switch to a newer SSL and drivers again. New image with SIM2 SSL84b and 'tweaked' 20120216 drivers. I also included the new OpenPLi 3.0 bootlogo's, they have a nice fresh 'look'.

It looks like the DM800 doesn't get a OpenPLi 3 update because the lack of cpu power. This image is a 100% build image from OpenPLi source, it uses tweaked 0216 drivers, which runs all plugins without patching.

You can use the update function, but if the PLi team switches to a new driver or ssl you may end up with a non functional box (which is an easy fix). Check the PLi openembedded shortlog to be sure!
